Vancouver-based Canadian Web Hosting announced earlier this week (December 12, 2011) a new addition to its CA Cloud services by way of a new Linux cloud environment. The new option gives cloud customers a shared hosting option with all the benefits of proprietary clouds at a fraction of the cost. Linux cloud hosting also provides customers access to important technologies and virtualization to keep their sites up and running in a reliable environment.
It wasn’t two months ago that the company launched two other cloud hosting services known as CA Cloud Servers and Cloud Hosting solutions. By adding the Linux-based option Canadian Web Hosting is targeting small businesses with limited budgets. It aims to provide stout cloud environments that can meet the demands of Canadian customers so they don’t have to seek services outside of the country. The company’s Canada-only focus is one of the things that set them apart from their competitors.
“Built on top of our CACloud cloud infrastructure, we are able to help facilitate customization and integration that is an exact match to our client’s requirements from shared cloud hosting to high performing multi-server configurations,” said Canadian Web Hosting CTO Kevin Liang. “With each CACloud solution, our clients get highly redundant dedicated components that yield a higher-level of performance and availability for their critical infrastructure. This is something that is not always possible in typical Public Clouds today especially for shared hosting.”
Canadian Web Hosting is a provider of web hosting services to businesses requiring a distinct Canadian presence. Their services are offered all across the country at both the consumer and enterprise level. They currently operate to collocation facilities in Vancouver and Toronto.
