Global Web hosting and VPS provider Cirrus Tech Ltd. has announced the deployment of Parallels Plesk Panel 11 for all VPS and VM service plans. Version 11 of the famous Plesk control panel improves the user experience by adding new features and enhanced security. One of Parallels’ vice presidents commented on the Cirrus Tech decision, lauding the company for providing a control panel that will appeal to a broad base of the company’s clients.
John Zanni said in an official statement that he is “happy to see that Cirrus Hosting is offering Parallels Plesk Panel 11 to their VPS customers on launch day.” The launch day Zanni was referring to took place on Tuesday, June 26 2012. As Parallels rolled out the latest version of their industry-leading software a number of companies were right there to begin deploying it. Cirrus Tech was one of them.
“Our long-time partnership with Parallels has allowed our customers to reap all the benefits that the award-winning hosting control panel offers,” stated Cirrus Tech CEO Ehsan Mirdamadi. “Now with the launch of Parallels Plesk Panel 11, Cirrus VPS users have even more features and functionality at their fingertips. Participating in this launch is part of our commitment to provisioning industry leading technology across the Cirrus network.”
The strength of Plesk Panel has always been its intuitive nature and ease-of-use. Parallels say the new version takes those strong points to the next level with a brand-new look and feel. They have added a new SDK and automation scripts for applications like Joomla and WordPress. Enhanced security features include the ability to force stronger passwords, added capability for PCI compliance in credit card transactions, and better encryption. Parallels Plesk Panel 11 is available to Cirrus customers on both Windows and Linux plans.
