Montreal-based web-hosting company iWeb put out a press release on 10 August 2012 unveiling two new additions to its already popular Classic server’s lineup, these additions being the Intel Xeon E3 and E5 processors.
The company, which has been established since 1996 and has over 20,000 customers worldwide, expects the new lineup of latest generation Xeon processors to offer even more power and reliability than ever before and attract even more customers to its growing user-base – one that has led them to become one of Canada’s fastest growing companies.
The biggest benefit of the new introductions is the improved performance, provided through the introduction of new technologies. The Classic server options have been a big success with those looking for affordable hosting options for traffic intensive applications. Classic servers are fully customizable and hosted on the iWeb fully redundant unmetered network.
The press release states that the Xeon E3 and E5 offers will come with a “minimum of 8 GB of RAM and 30 TB of traffic from only $ 149 per month.” Both will also be backed by the vast range of features that other Classic servers include such as: dedicated hardware, I/O-intensive applications support and being visualization ready to get to market faster and with lower risk.
Away from the introduction of the Xeon processors, iWeb has also added the Intel Core i3-2100 2nd Gen to its lineup, coming with a minimum of 4GB RAM and 12TB of traffic at a price of just $129 per month.
The addition of the processors can only add to iWeb’s standing as one of top on-demand server and cloud infrastructure providers for performance and reliability.
