SingleHop, a prominent North American web-hosting provider, revealed Stephen Pace as its new worldwide sales and channel executive vice president.
Mr. Pace is charged with expanding SingleHop’s business and spurring growth across his sector. He will boost its global sales efforts, build and maintain strong relationships, whilst also coordinating the organisation’s rapidly expanding sales team.
Pace has over 25 years of experience in sales and marketing for technology firms, as well as experience working with web hosting. Previously, he served as the sales and marketing vice president for company NaviSite. He also worked in the enterprise security market as Core Security Technologies’ sales and services senior vice president.
The new appointment said his first words since joining the company in a press release placed on SingleHop’s website, “I’m very excited to be joining SingleHop because of its rapid growth and its industry-leading commitment to customer satisfaction.” He continued to promote his new work environment, “The company is a pioneer in the use of automation to streamline business operations for itself and its customers, including its recent release of Security Accelerator. This positions SingleHop for continued leadership as the global movement to cloud-based resources continues to accelerate and gain momentum.”
SingleHop is known for its rapidly expanding operations. In February 2002, it appeared on the INC 500 list for the fastest growing private American companies. It also revealed revenue of $22 million in 2011, although no 2012 figures have yet been released.
Mr. Pace will contribute to this fast growth and will work directly from Chicago with its main sales team. Observers expect this latest appointment to take advantage of experience and Mr. Pace’s knowledge of the web hosting market as it stands today. They also expect SingleHop to begin competing with the larger web hosts in the next few years, and perhaps spreading into the European and Asian markets.
